Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscription & Billing

• CareerGuard is offered as a monthly subscription (currently $15/month) providing access to all AI career tools.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Fees are stated at checkout and may be updated with prior notice.
• Refunds are handled case by case, consistent with applicable consumer law.

3. AI-Generated Content

• Resumes, cover letters, interview questions, company insights, and salary data generated by CareerGuard are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or outdated information.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated output before submitting it to employers or third parties.
• We do not guarantee that AI output is unique, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.

4. Acceptable Use

• You agree to comply with the Terms of Service of any job platform you interact with (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.) when using CareerGuard’s discovery or application features.
• You may not use the service to spam employers, scrape platforms in violation of their policies, misrepresent your identity or qualifications, or resell access to the service.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Intellectual Property

You own the resume content and documents you create with CareerGuard. The CareerGuard platform, branding, and software remain the property of SK Consulting USA. Public job listing data surfaced in the app belongs to its respective sources.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

CareerGuard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee job placement, interview invitations, employment outcomes, or the accuracy of company or salary data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to legal@careerguard.app.
